Murals Of The World is my personal project. It all started out as a simple class assignment that in the course of a few months turned into a fully functioning community for artists and art geeks alike.
The simple idea behind the project was to showcase the best and most unique murals from all over the world (staying true to its name). Murals Of The World has become a place where people can discover curated urban art, artists and art festivals are able to gain more exposure, and brands are able to communicate with a niche market.
Stepping up the project, my idea with this proposal was to create a fully-functioning platform, where users can easily locate murals in any part of the world and learn about the mural (such as who made it, the date it was created, the concept and back story and other interesting facts).
The design of the platform itself will not be shown here, only renders used for the proposal, as well as for the presentation and the book used to explain the project.
Based on the essence of the city, since the very same building facades serve as the canvas for the artists.
